Meet “Bainbridge” – A Beautifully Reimagined 1997 VW Eurovan Camper

Only 82,000 Miles | Clean Carfax | Custom Poptop World Upgrades | One-Year Warranty

Some camper vans are special because of their history. Others stand out because of their condition. And then there are vans like Bainbridge, where an exceptionally low-mileage Volkswagen Eurovan Camper becomes the foundation for something truly remarkable.

We're excited to introduce Bainbridge, a 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper that has been thoughtfully updated and customized by the team at Poptop World.

With just 82,000 original miles, a clean Carfax, and extensive service history, Bainbridge offered us an incredible opportunity.

The previous owner had reached a point in life where the camper was no longer being used regularly. After sitting for several years, it needed some attention. We recognized the potential immediately and purchased it with a special purpose in mind: to showcase the upgrades, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that make Poptop World a destination for Volkswagen camper enthusiasts.

The result is a beautifully refreshed camper that combines the classic appeal of the Eurovan with modern conveniences, improved comfort, and the peace of mind that comes from professional mechanical service.

A Camper Built for the Next Adventure

We wanted Bainbridge to be more than just another nice-looking Eurovan. Our goal was to create a camper that demonstrates what is possible when an experienced VW specialist shop takes the time to do things right.

From the striking new blue pop-top canvas to the upgraded suspension, modern refrigeration, electrical improvements, and refreshed interior, nearly every aspect of this camper has received thoughtful attention.

And the best part? All of the following upgrades are included in the purchase price.

Exterior, Pop-Top & Suspension Upgrades

• New Blue Three-Window Pop-Top Canvas – A beautiful new tent that gives Bainbridge its distinctive appearance while providing fresh ventilation and visibility.

• Complete Luggage Rack Service – New mounting brackets and seals.

• Resealed Pop-Top Blocks – Comprehensive sealing work to protect against water intrusion.

• Raptor Protective Coating – Applied to the front and rear bumpers and lower body for a rugged, attractive, and durable finish.

• GoWesty Suspension Lift Kit – Upgraded suspension for improved ground clearance and a more capable stance.

• Upgraded 7-Inch-Wide Wheels

• New Hankook Tires

• Bilstein XHD Shocks

• GoWesty Lift Plates

• GoWesty Upgraded Transmission Cooler – An important upgrade designed to help manage transmission temperatures.

Interior & Camper Comfort Upgrades

Bainbridge's interior is receiving the same level of attention as its exterior, with improvements designed to make camping more comfortable and enjoyable.

• Poptop World Custom Refrigerator Cabinet – Professionally designed and built to accommodate a modern refrigerator.

• New TruckFridge CR65 Low-Voltage Refrigerator – Efficient refrigeration without relying on the original propane refrigerator system.

• New Flooring – Installed with sound-deadening material underneath and finished with durable marine-grade vinyl.

• All-New Window Blinds – Fresh privacy and light control throughout the camper.

• MaxxFan 10-Speed Ventilation Fan – Complete with remote control for convenient airflow and temperature management.

• New Poptop World Tri-Fold Mattress – A comfortable sleeping upgrade for the lower bed.

• New Upper Bunk Mattresses – Fresh sleeping surfaces for the pop-top bed.

• Poptop World Powered Center Console – Custom center console with convenient 12-volt power outlets.

Modern Electrical Upgrades

A comfortable camper needs a dependable electrical system, and Bainbridge is receiving significant improvements in this area.

• Renogy 200Ah Coach Battery – Expanded battery capacity for camping accessories and electrical needs.

• Renogy 1,000-Watt Inverter – Provides 110-volt AC power through two outlets.

• Progressive Dynamics Intelli-Power Charger – Modern charging equipment to help maintain the camper's coach battery system.

These upgrades make Bainbridge far more convenient for today's camping lifestyle, with improved electrical capacity and the ability to operate modern accessories.

Thorough Mechanical Inspection & Service

At Poptop World, we believe a camper should be as impressive mechanically as it is cosmetically.

That's especially important with a vehicle that has seen limited use in recent years.

Before offering Bainbridge for sale, our master technician performed a comprehensive inspection, followed by important preventive maintenance and service.

Mechanical service includes:

• Complete inspection by our master technician

• Fresh engine oil and filter change

• Full engine tune-up

• Transmission service and filter replacement

• New engine air filter

• New cabin air filter

• New fuel filter

Bainbridge also comes with a clean Carfax report and extensive documented service history, which we're happy to share with prospective buyers.

The Poptop World Difference: A One-Year Warranty

Here's something that truly sets Bainbridge apart from most privately sold Eurovan Campers.

All of the newly completed work and upgrades performed by Poptop World are backed by our one-year warranty.

When you purchase a camper from us, you're not simply buying a vehicle from someone who happens to have it for sale.

You're buying from a shop that specializes in Volkswagen Eurovan Campers every day.

Our technicians repair them, maintain them, troubleshoot them, and develop upgrades specifically for these vehicles. We know their strengths, their quirks, and the areas that deserve special attention.

Our reputation is built on the quality of that work, and we're proud to stand behind it.

Personalized Camper Orientation Included

Whether you're purchasing your first Eurovan Camper or you're a longtime Volkswagen enthusiast, we want you to feel comfortable and confident with your new van.

That's why Bainbridge's new owner will receive a personalized camper orientation with one of our technicians upon delivery.

We'll walk you through the camper's features, explain the upgraded electrical system, demonstrate the equipment, and answer your questions.

Our goal is simple: we want you to enjoy your camper from the very first adventure.

A Rare Opportunity

Finding a 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper with only 82,000 miles is becoming increasingly difficult.

Finding one with a clean Carfax, extensive service history, professionally installed modern upgrades, fresh mechanical service, and a one-year warranty on the work is even more unusual.

Bainbridge represents a unique opportunity to enjoy the charm and versatility of a classic Volkswagen camper with many of the conveniences today's travelers appreciate.
