A/C Compressor [Late Vanagon]
This air-conditioning compressor fits all 1986-91 Vanagon hard-top models, and 1987-91 pop-top models with factory-installed air conditioning. Brand-new, sold outright. No core charge.
Application Guide:
This compressor does not have screw-on type fittings. The hose ends that fit this compressor have no threads. The hoses are held on with a bracket that is attached to the back of the compressor by one bolt. Please ensure your existing compressor fits this description prior to ordering.
Fitment Notes:
- The hoses that meet the back of this compressor vary significantly from vehicle to vehicle and may need minor modifications to work.
- The suction hose is inconsistently located. Bending or re-drilling its support bracket may be necessary.
- The end of the discharge hose may need to be trimmed. Check for clearance in the compressor port before tightening the hose mounting bracket.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
