Additional Kit for GoWesty Stainless Steel Coolant Pipe Kit [Late Vanagon]
FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ONLY.
This kit replaces the 251-121-062F three-way hose when installing a Stainless Steel Coolant Pipe Set.
All 1986-91 Vanagons are fitted with a formed hose that runs above the transaxle. On Vanagon with automatic transmissions, this is a three-way coolant hose. This hose was very expensive when it was available, and now it's no longer available at any price. This kit eliminates the need for a three-way hose in that location by plumbing the transmission oil cooler to the heater hose that runs right next to the three-way hose above the transaxle.
If you are installing our stainless steel coolant pipes and you have an automatic transmission you MUST order this supplemental kit.
