Axle Rebuild Kit [Bus/Vanagon]
We no longer carry “rebuilt” axle assemblies (axle, boots, CVs, and clips) because of consistent quality control issues. Oftentimes, all we would get is a pair of used axles back that had been simply taken apart, cleaned, re-greased, and put back together with new CV boots. You can still get a complete axle assembly from GoWesty, but now we only offer all-new axle assemblies from EMPI, made in China.
Like many things that come from China: For the money, they are hard to beat. But they are by no means the best axle assembly money can buy. The CV joints themselves have been pretty darn bullet proof, but we have seen the axles fail and have noticed the boots and grease are not the best, either. The best way to go is to build your own assemblies by re-using your existing, original German VW axle, and a set of the best quality parts and materials available. That is what the GoWesty axle rebuilt kit offers: Everything you need—except the axle itself, because you're using your own for the rebuilding process.
We offer two kits that are exactly the same, except one has German CV joints and the other has Chinese CV joints. With both kits you get superior Rockford boots and all new hardware. So, even building up a set of axle assemblies using Chinese CVs and all the other stuff in our kit is likely to yield a better axle than what you get with a complete Chinese axle from EMPI, plus a smaller carbon footprint since no axles are being discarded.
Building your own drive axles does not require any special tools, and it is actually kind of fun. But if you are not into getting dirty (it is quite a messy job!), or simply don’t want to mess with it—this is a slam-dunk job for any repair shop. • 36 Serrated lock washers

• 6 German GKN CV joints for the rear and front inner joints with Febi-Bilstein or GKN grease packs
• 6 Rockford heavy-duty CV boots
• 2 German GKN front outer CV joint shafts with hard boots
Regular Bundle also includes:
• 6 Empi CV joints for the rear and front inner joints with Empi grease packs
• 6 Empi standard CV boots
• 2 European front outer CV joint shafts with hard boots
Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we will issue you an RMA #. You will then ship your item to the address below:

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please email your tracking number to sales@poptopworld.com with your RMA # to expedite return.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Some Products are being fulfilled by 3rd parties who do not accept returns OR the products are extremely heavy and expensive to ship. The following products are in those categories and WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS:

We do provide tech support based on manufacturer's warranty for any of the above products and exchanges are available for defective components or products. You will have to contact info@poptopworld.com if you suspect you have a defect to start a customer support ticket. Please use subject line (name of product) + Tech Support Requested.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
