2000 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper – 167k Miles – Beautiful Condition & Loaded With Recent Upgrades!

Offered at $26,500

This 2000 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper with 167,888 miles is a particularly nice example that has been well cared for and is in excellent cosmetic condition inside and out. There is no significant body or interior damage, and it presents beautifully for a 26-year-old Eurovan Camper.

Even better, this isn't a van that just showed up on our doorstep. The owner has been a Poptop World service client, and we have personally performed a number of significant upgrades and repairs on this camper.

When the owner decided it was time to sell, he brought the van back to us for consignment. Our Master Volkswagen Technician performed a comprehensive mechanical inspection, and the owner authorized us to complete all of the recommended repairs before offering the van for sale.

The result is a very nice, well-sorted Eurovan Camper that drives great, shifts smoothly, and is ready for its next owner.

Thousands of Dollars in Recent Upgrades & Service

New Pacific Blue 3-Window Pop-Top Tent

Just a few months ago, we replaced the original pop-top tent with a beautiful Pacific Blue three-window tent. It looks fantastic against the exterior of the van and provides excellent ventilation when camping.

Lift Kit, 16" Mercedes-Style Wheels & Bilstein HD Shocks

This Eurovan has also been upgraded with a lift kit, 16-inch Mercedes-style replica wheels and Bilstein HD shocks.

This is a great combination on a Eurovan Camper, giving the van an upgraded stance along with improved ground clearance and a more capable suspension setup. The 16-inch wheels also give the camper a great look and complement its excellent exterior condition.

Upgraded Suburban NT-24 Furnace

The original camper furnace has been replaced with the upgraded Suburban NT-24 24,000 BTU propane furnace, providing significantly improved heating performance for cold-weather camping.

Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power Converter

We replaced the original Winnebago power converter with a modern Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power converter/charger, an excellent upgrade to the camper's electrical system.

Brand-New CR65 Low-Voltage Refrigerator & Poptop World Cabinet

The owner had removed the original non-functioning Norcold refrigerator several years ago. As part of preparing the van for sale, he authorized us to install our Poptop World refrigerator conversion cabinet along with a brand-new CR65 low-voltage refrigerator.

This is one of our favorite Eurovan Camper upgrades and provides a much more practical and efficient refrigeration setup than the original Norcold refrigerator.

New Camper Sink Faucet & Water Pump

During our camper inspection, we found that the sink faucet and water pump needed attention. Both are being replaced as part of the preparation for sale.

Mechanically Inspected & Serviced by Poptop World

When the van arrived for consignment, our Master Volkswagen Technician inspected it from top to bottom. We recommended several items, and the owner approved all of the recommended repairs.

The van is receiving:

  • New A/C compressor

  • New serpentine belt

  • New belt tensioner

  • New camper sink water pump

  • New camper sink faucet

These repairs and upgrades are included in the $26,500 asking price.

The van drives great and shifts smoothly, and the air-conditioning system will have a new compressor installed as part of our pre-sale work.

One of the most important maintenance items on a higher-mileage VR6 Eurovan has already been addressed:

The timing chain was replaced at approximately 154,000 miles.

With the van currently showing 167,888 miles, that means the timing chain has only about 14,000 miles on it.

Clean CARFAX & Service Records

This Eurovan comes with a clean CARFAX and service records, giving the next owner something that is becoming increasingly valuable as these campers get older: documented history.

Why We Like This Eurovan

Mileage is only one part of the story when buying a 20+ year-old Eurovan Camper. Condition, maintenance history and the expensive work that has already been completed can be far more important.

This van checks a lot of boxes:

  • Excellent cosmetic condition inside and out

  • Clean CARFAX

  • Service records

  • Timing chain replaced at 154k miles

  • New Pacific Blue 3-window pop-top tent

  • Lift kit

  • 16" Mercedes-style replica wheels

  • Bilstein HD shocks

  • Upgraded Suburban NT-24 furnace

  • Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power converter

  • Brand-new CR65 low-voltage refrigerator

  • Poptop World refrigerator conversion cabinet

  • New A/C compressor

  • New serpentine belt and tensioner

  • New camper sink faucet and water pump

  • Inspected by our Master Volkswagen Technician

Most importantly, we know this van. The owner was already a Poptop World service client before deciding to sell, and we have personally performed many of the upgrades and repairs listed above.

At $26,500, all of the current inspection work, repairs and upgrades described above are included in the price.

For someone looking for a clean, attractive Eurovan Camper with a documented history and many of the expensive age-related upgrades already taken care of, this is a very compelling camper.

We’re not just selling you a Eurovan — we’re here to help you own one.
